A leading commercial real estate information and analytics company partnered with Trua and Trua-CE™ (Continuous Evaluation) to transform its workforce risk strategy-from one­ time, pre-employment background checks to real-time, post­ hire continuous evaluation across its U.S. workforce.

What began as a deployment covering approximately 5,000 employees  quickly  scaled to nearly 7,000 monitored employees, demonstrating both the urgency of the use case and the scalability of Trua-CE. The initiative was driven directly by executive leadership, including the CEO and CHRO, to close post-hire security gaps, strengthen executive and brand protection, and improve visibility into workforce risk.

This shift enabled the commercial real estate firm to move beyond reactive screening, strengthen privacy and compliance controls, and establish a scalable foundation for long-term workforce risk management.

SITUATION

The firm’s background screening program relied heavily on a legacy provider and was limited to pre­ employment checks conducted once at hire. There was no systematic way to monitor risk events after onboarding, creating a significant post-hire security gap.
