SITUATION

TASK

  • Automate ID verification, continuous background checks, and employment verification directly within the Workday HR platform.
  • Monitor state and federal criminal history alongside healthcare-specific compliance metrics.
  • Enable continuous healthcare compliance checks and reporting for internal stakeholders and external.
  • Add ongoing sex offender screening and MVR checks for roles involving patient interaction and driving.

ACTION

The healthcare provider deployed Trua-CE and TruaScore to screen hundreds of employees, meeting compliance requirements through continuous monitoring, and embedding workflows into Workday. The Trua-CE specifically provided ongoing monitoring of criminal data, bookings, civil actions, and sanctions lists, surfacing risk as it happened, so the organization could respond quickly.

Trua configured custom compliance reports  and  schedules  aligned  to  monthly, quarterly, and annual audit cycles, while TruaScore and additional monitoring (MVR and sex-offender checks) gave HR and operations teams a clearer, reusable view of each employee’s credential and compliance status.
